A much lower KP index and solar wind speeds predicted however it was looking clear(ish) for an hour so off we went for a wander amongst the volcanic pseudo craters that are all around the Myvatn area of northern Iceland. The Great Bear/ Plough/ Ursa Major/ Big Dipper constellation sat directly above the crater as was the pole star (just out of shot)
The Aurora seemed to be creating a perfect arch out across lake Myvatn. Whilst not super bright i was starting to get pretty fast shutter speeds so thought I’d try a panoramic
