A Selection of Landscape and wildlife Images taken over two extended summer photographic trips to Iceland. One to the N/W and N in 2008 and the other exploring the south coast in 2010 which was a matter of 8-9 weeks after the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull Volcanic eruption. Some of the images taken from Thórsmörk (Thors Ridge) show some of the devastation form where the glacial lagoon burst and its contents washed down the valley and out to sea

Icelandic Atlantic puffin (Fratercula arctica)_Látrabjarg_8
Taken somewhere along the 14km long, 1400 ft high Látrabjarg sea cliffs, the most westerly point in Iceland and europe. The atlantic or Common Puffin is part of the auk family. Látrabjarg in the N/W and the (also) huge cliffs at Dyrholaey are the two largest beeding grounds for the Puffin in Iceland
