A night time long exposure image of Her Magesty's Prison (HMP) Dartmoor in the town of Princetown, Devon, UK. Opend in the year 1809 to house prisoners of war (POW's) during the Napoleonic War and taking prisoners from the ships in Plymouth sound and other areas it soon grew to become a huge granite structure housing some of the countrys most serious criminals. its now down graded to a Category C prison

Nuns Cross Farm by moonlight, Dartmoor
A monochromatic long exposure image of Nuns Cross Farm which is to be found to the south of Princetown on Dartmoor (south Moor). The farm has been through many different roles including being a bunk house. The gate to the front of the image has been there for years but on this visit was found in multiple pieces so I spent some time putting it back together and back on its rusty old hinges. I suspect (unfortunately) it wont remain like that for long

strong late evening light raking accross the side of Nuns Cross Farm on Dartmoor. unfortunately a huge bank of cloud killed the light shortly afterwards so no pink and orange phase, but you cant have it all your own way...

A night time panoramic image (multi images stitched together) taken from Combstone Tor and loking out over swirling mist in the Upper Dart Valley. the glows are (left - Princetown) and (middle - Dartmeet / Pixies holt). the plough constellation is almost dead centre leading up to the pole star meaning true north
The winter Milky Way over Nuns Cross Farm (Panoramic)
A 6 image stitch using a super wide 14mm lens to get the whole winter arch in. whilst way prettier in the summer its then all round the wrong way for the farm. i'll call this a work in progress...
