so... We finally had what felt like a full winters day but on getting up to Dartmoor, the snow was very thin. Plan B head to the highest point of High Willhays (621m)and Yes Tor (619m) and see what fun there was to be had. Clearly someone was out on their own doing the same thing

Passing Storm at Hookney Tor_1
A huge rain storm passing in front of me and a beautiful sunset going on behind me and then the two combined, giving this lovely softly lit Tor and foreground with a dark brooding sky behind Proper Moody! For those interested , the Challacombe Medieval Settlement and its ancient ploughed field systems are what you can see behind (right) of the tor.
